No experience needed, just an open heart and mind.

We will take some time to learn different drum beats, explore how the rhythm can bring us in to a balanced state of mind, connect to vision, and experience somatic healing.

An informal gathering where we will come together, We may sing some medicine songs together, drum together if you like or use a rattle or other percussion instrument. You can sit and recieve or join in as much as you feel like. All is welcome.

These gatherings are a way to connect, express creativity, and experience the joy of drumming, voice and more.

The rhythmic and repetitive nature of drumming can be calming and stress-relieving, there will be a focus on spiritual connection and healing. 

I have been on a personal shamanic Journey for a few years, learning to joumey via the drum with various shamanic healers and I love holding sacred space, these classes may vary and include mantra, breath work & more. You will be held in a safe space.

This particular date we will be embracing the energy of Imbolc

The celebration of Imbolc originates from the Celts. Imbolc symbolizes the halfway point between the winter solstice (Yule) and the spring equinox (Ostara). The word "imbolc" means "in the belly of the Mother," because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth

I have a few spare drums so please advise if you need to borrow one. These will be small gatherings.
