Retreats and holidays longer than 2 nights: A minimum deposit of £300 is required to book your place (this will vary for each retreat). The deposit amount is non-refundable. The balance is due 3 months in advance. Cancellation is required in writing. Cancellation of more than 120 days – Full refund of monies paid (less deposit). Cancellation between 120- 90 days, refund of 50% of the monies paid (after deposit amount deducted). Cancellation of less than 90 days, no refund, credit or exchange.
In the unlikely event that Lisa Valentine Yoga/Shakti Yogis Ltd has to cancel your holiday we will credit your payment towards any future retreat, or refund where possible with the exception of (where applicable) flights, insurance, travelling costs or any other expenses. Notification of cancellation can be given up to 21 days before the start of the holiday. Lisa Valentine/Shakti Yogis Ltd reserves the right in extreme circumstances beyond their control to a) substitute the advertised teacher/facilitator for the retreat b) Use an alternative venue of equal or superior standard to the one advertised.
Cancellation beyond control of Lisa Valentine/Shakti Yogis Ltd: In the event of Force Majeure/unforeseen circumstances that hinders, delays, curtails or leads to cancellation of any events Lisa Valentine/Shakti Yogis Ltd will not be liable for any costs incurred or to repay any monies received. Participants will be expected to claim under their individual insurance. This includes but is not limited to, severe weather, acts of terrorism, disease epidemics, government actions, natural disasters, war, strikes, and failure of 3rd parties such as venues/caterers to provide their services.
In registering for any event or service you agree that Lisa Valentine/Shakti Yogis Ltd shall not be held responsible for any damage, loss or delay.
In registering for any event or service you agree to assume all risks associated with the event and or service and agree that no liability will be attached to Lisa Valentine/Shakti Yogis Ltd (or any staff member or contractors working on behalf of Lisa Valentine/Shakti Yogis Ltd for any personal injury, illness, delay, loss or damages to property, finances or health.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any part of these Terms and Conditions does not invalidate or affect the remainder, which continues to govern the relative.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are covered by private Travel Insurance for the full duration of the holiday in respect of medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate cover. I may require that you provide these details before travel.
Lisa Valentine Yoga/Shakti Yogis Ltd or any 3rd parties involved cannot accept any liability for:
• Cancellations, delays or changes caused by events beyond my/their control.
• Participants' medical, psychiatric, or emotional conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday.
• Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
• Health & Safety checks are in place for venues, however I will not hold any responsibilty for any injury that may occur at the retreat premises.
• Additional activities are booked at the participants own risk.
• Please be aware I am a small independant yoga teacher, I am fully insured to teach Yoga on retreats, Shakti Yogis Ltd has the relevant insuruance as a small tour operator but its not covered for any thing beyond my control. The booking conditions state that all individuals hold their own personal travel insurance.
