Gathering together for our second extended vinyasa class. This time the focus will be on preparing for inversions. We will flow together in a way that brings deep awareness to our breath in an effort to bring a sense of peace to the body and particularly the mind so we feel ready for our inversion practice.
We will explore how the bandhas and the breath pay an important role when going upside down alongside the physical aspect of strengthening the shoulders, using the core and finding space in the back body and hamstrings whilst engaging the front body.
The class will consist of a 60 minute flow, 15 minutes of inversion play and finish with 15 minutes of yin and full body relaxation.
