Cucumber: The 96% water hydration master. They also contain caffeic acid, an antioxidant that fights swelling and silica, a mineral that’s great at repairing and keeping the skin healthy.

Beets: These scarlet beauties are loaded with iron, fiber, folic acid and a natural source of nitrates, which help with blood pressure.

Ginger: Tough at fighting nausea, indigestion and inflammation.

Lemon: Together with a good hit of vitamin C, lemons contain health-boosting bioflavonoids.

Apples: Rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber.

Here’s what you will need:

2 apple, peeled and cored

1/2 cucumber, peeled and cut into chunks

1 cup cubed cooked beets

2 tablespoons peeled fresh ginger slices

1 lemon, juiced

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, optional


Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 minute, until smooth.
