We all talk to ourselves, sometimes I find myself literally talking to myself and find people staring at me, which is a little unnerving. Yet, when you talk to yourself, do you find yourself thinking about the mistakes you made, how you could have achieved more, exercised more, been more loving or forgiving. Or my other favourite, worrying about tomorrow, what tomorrow might bring, oh the doom and gloom we put ourselves through.
Spring is all about new beginnings, everything is starting to grow, the nights are longer and the clocks go forward at the weekend. We should all take the opportunity to stop procrastinating about yesterday or tomorrow and think about the now, how we can achieve all our dreams by working hard today, living in the present. This may be picking up your yoga yet again after a vegged out sofa winter, or thinking about your diet so that you feel your best by summer. Perhaps you are after that promotion, now is the time to put in the effort to obtain that promotion, not tomorrow, or the next day or even the one after that.
Life throws curveballs to us all, let’s throw them straight back with a smile as we can do anything we set out to achieve, we are strong and we are worthy.
