When I became pregnant for the first time in 2010 I was so excited at both the prospect of my now son and to my changing body. I wanted to continue my yoga practice as I felt it would help me prepare and subsequently heal my rapidly changing body and mind. It actually benefited me so much that in 2016 I qualified in pre and post natal yoga so that I could help other new mums to be.
My classes are for all levels and suitable from 12 weeks until birth, we focus on gentle modified vinyasa flows, allowing the body to stretch and strengthen in a safe way, this then helps with many pregnancy related ailments. We work on restorative poses to soothe our nervous systems and guided hypo-birthing affirmations.
I love working with new mums to be and want my classes to help you prepare for the birthing, plus provide quality time for you to connect with your unborn baby. We will introduce restorative yoga to allow your mind to rest from any anxieties you may be feeling.
My classes are geared to help you relax, restore and listen to your own body and baby, I do hope to see you on the mat soon.
