In the UK we have a wonderful mantra our home is our castle, whatever the size, type, location it doesn’t matter because as soon as we close our front door we are in our own castle, space and zone. For some this will be zen like and for others chaotic disorder, but it is ours to flourish in.
It is important that we create the zones that we want in our homes, it doesn’t matter if you have 35 metre square or 200 metre square of space, it is what you do with that space that matters. In our journey for mindfulness it is important to find a peaceful zone, a seat by a window, or beautiful picture to sitting on our bed, it needs to be place where we feel happy, secure and able to close our eyes and relax. Breath and bring in energy, because it is this mindfulness that takes us through our journey of life.
While we are in our castles we are free to act and behave exactly as we want away from prying eyes, it is a place to totally relax, play and chill to restore our energy. So, make the most of your home, fill it with love and items that share memories, laughter and comfort so that we can become more soulful, strong and resilient when we have to leave our safe boundary.
