How do you speak to yourself, are you loving and kind, or picky and negative? Do you encourage yourself to develop or do you criticise and judge?
Isn’t it amazing that when we speak to our friends, we encourage, we care, we are loving and kind, passing on compliments. Talking to ourselves however we sabotage, pick, and can be so totally negative which in effect knocks our self confidence, our own compassion, our judgement and our healthy choices. By belittling ourselves we are sabotaging our own happiness.
Stop, be kind to yourself, accept yourself, stop judging yourself in a negative way. Start being self compassionate, treating yourself with kindness and acceptance. We all face challenging times and need to overcome hurdles but we don’t need to respond with negative thoughts and self criticism.
So next time you starting talking down to yourself, stop and think how would you encourage a friend who was in a similar situation and give yourself lots of self love.
