“I think there’s room for both private exploration and group work in yoga”
Yoga is a practice that we can work on individually, or alternatively we can go to a practice regularly and join a group of people for an hour or more. We can set our intentions for our practice whether on our own or in the group session. Both options are great for our mind and body but which one makes us feel better?
This got me thinking, I enjoy working with other people, I find that by practicing my yoga in a group whether small or large I can feel the energy that comes from the whole group which then in turn gives me so much more energy and I leave my daily practice feeling either invigorated or restful depending on the time of day.
I also believe this is the same in life, when we offer our wisdom, guidance or just listen to someone who is in need of help, or we are in need of help, we become more powerful, we become more passionate and we definitely become a lot wiser.
