Yikes! It has arrived…….. the kids are on holiday.
So, for the past couple of months we have had our routines, regular yoga on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and now…. Forget it, we are back to trying to fit in a session when and wherever we can because our number one priority is entertaining our kids, taking them to the beach, on holiday, digging for worms (always a pleasure), putting plasters on cuts and grazes and a loving arm around them when they get over excited and it all ends in tears.
With this in mind, it is even more important that we try and keep up with our yoga, our stress levels need it. We need the quiet meditation, the stretching to ease stress, the deep breaths to stop our voices rising in irritation. We need to take 10 minutes wherever we can to do a few sun salutations, before bed spend 10 minutes meditating and early in the morning some deep stretches and deep breathing, so that we can sail through the next 6 weeks with a smile on our faces and enjoy the enthusiasm, energy and questions from our over enthusiastic wonderful kids, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
