You know how it is, your busy, you don’t have much time, so you rush into a shop buy a purchase a quick thanks or nod of the head and your off, perhaps knocking someone accidentally on the way out…… been there – I know I have.
But how much nicer if we take our time to be pleasant, it really doesn’t take up any more of our day to say to a stranger I love your hair cut, or I love those trousers, where did you buy them? Opening the door for an older person, smiling at the Big Issue seller and buying one, small acts. Perhaps a friend is doing something they really don’t like for charity, lets donate and help them on their way, it doesn’t have to be big. You’re in the waiting room at the doctors or dentist, smile at a stranger and perhaps listen to someone chat, they may be very lonely and you are their only contact today.
It really doesn’t take time to be kind to people, to donate, to feel gratitude and to thank. It’s great to be busy but it really doesn’t interrupt your day to laugh, hug, smile, invite or show kindness to your fellow human beings.
